Come celebrate Mardi Gras with a full day of music at Fat Tuesday's. Our set is from 8-9pm, but there will be a ton of bands, come by and stay a while!

FAA was born five years ago on September 10, 2006. Ever since then, this non-profit organization has been hosting great concerts with great bands all for the benefit of the age-challenged. To celebrate this milestone, they're throwing five anniversary parties and ELBY BRASS is proud to be included in the lineup. On Monday, January 31, twenty-three musicians gathered at The Otter House, put their names in a hat, and were randomly assigned into five separate bands. On Friday, April 1, these five bands will come back to The Otter House for a night of musical mayhem. Each group was given a task: write a 20-minute set of original music, then perform it in concert. The audience will vote for their favorite act, the band with the most votes will win a $500 grand prize. Be witness to the best musical experiment in Fredericksburg, come to the final showdown on April Fools' Day! Stay tuned to this event for updates on each of the bands' progress. May the best band win!

For the past ten years, Keller Williams has performed an after-Christmas show to benefit the Fredericksburg Regional SPCA. To help celebrate the anniversary, this year he's invited ELBY to throw down out in the crowd during the set breaks. Each of the three sets will feature a different side of Keller's music: reggae dubstep with Jay Starling and Mark D, jammy bluegrass with Keller and The Keels, and his classic solo acoustic loop grooves. Dance it up with our hometown hero and support a good cause, all profits will be donated to the SPCA.

The oldest dog fair in America is back and better than ever. ELBY will be leading the opening parade through downtown. Starting at Maury Stadium and heading to the new Riverfront Park, you've got to be there when we kick things off. We're back at University Cafe for another show down. This time we brought two new friends along for the ride. ELLIOT CURRIE is a fabulous local guitarist and singer, he's got a solo set planned for the first part of the night. We've also got 12-SIDED PEOPLE in their debut performance. This is a second line funk brass ensemble featuring members of ELBY BRASS plus local musicians Mike Ashenfelder, Marc Weigel, and Slam Stewart. It's a full lineup you won't want to miss.
